A Life Remembered

Stories and moments from a life well loved, gathered by the people who knew her along the way.

What is the Time Capsule?

In 2022, when Colleen and I began working on this website, we dreamed up the idea of a time capsule – a place where friends and family, near and far, could leave memories as they came to mind as well as share moments that bring her to mind for others as time goes on. More than anything, Colleen wanted it to be a place for Eddie and Jeremy, “my guys” as she so affectionately called them, to return to over the years and discover stories, photographs, and little moments from her life they may have never seen and share in community after she’s gone.

Share a written memory, upload a favorite photo or video, or record an audio message. Add key words and a date when you can to help keep Colleen’s memories organized and easy to discover.

Memories shared here are public and can be viewed by anyone visiting Colleen’s website. Most importantly, they’ll remain here for Eddie and Jeremy as well as Colleen’s siblings, family and close friends to revisit for years to come.

Yes. The name you enter will appear with the memory you share, but your email address is collected only for verification and will never be displayed publicly. This Time Capsule was created specifically for Colleen’s website and is not provided through a third-party application, so your information is not shared with or collected by an outside software provider.

This was a labor of love (sponsored by late night covos with Colleen and a lot of caffeine), and one that could only be tested ahead of time so much – so it’s essentially in ‘beta’ at the moment. My goal is for this to be a sturdy, reliable, dynamic and accessible gift for years to come.
